I started painting at the age of forty when I treated myself to a beginner’s painting weekend in Dartmouth, I got the bug!!!

I became friends with an artist in Hertfordshire who in turn inspired, bullied and taught me to have some freedom of expression he also persuaded me to do a two year Art and Design access course which I loved.

Six years ago we moved back to the West Country and the opportunity to have a studio at the Clevedon Craft Centre Presented its self and since then when I am not working as a Dental Hygienist I paint!!!!

I am inspired by the sea and skies, colour, humour and by my passion for improving as an artist.

I mostly work in Acrylics/mixed media on canvas, paper, board and anything I get my hands on.

I now do a comprehensive range of cards and notelets and the odd commission which keeps me out of mischief!!!!

I have exhibited in various local exhibitions here and in Hertfordshire and of course in my studio which is part gallery.
